Master Builders Lego Parties Hertford and Ware

The Best Lego Party in Hertfordshire

If you're children are into Lego like my sons, then I can't recommend a Master Builders session or bespoke party enough. We attended one of Darren's groups in Ware during half term, and my boys just got stuck in making a variety of vehicles to send down the ramp, pure creativity in action. After the best part of an hour I eventually persuaded them to explore what else was available, and my eldest discovered the Lego Basketball and Lego football sets. He played really well with another little boy, and when he left Darren himself stepped in to play a few games while I entertained my youngest who had moved onto creating a fire engine duplo pirate ship.

On the way home, when I asked how much they'd liked it, Master Builders was given a resounding 8 out of 10... Very high praise indeed for my sons, especially when there wasn't a computer game in sight.

I immediately called to book Master Builders for a small party at home for my sons 8th Birthday. There were just 5 children attending, but that was the ideal number for this sort of party in a home setting.

Darren brought everything with him; more lego than anyone would know what to do with - wheels, figures, timers and kits, his car ramp; he even hires environmentally friendly re-usable plates, crockery and serving bowls for your snacks (in the form of lego heads) making it the easiest party to organise.
The funny thing about kids is, and I don't know if you've noticed this? They can be really fascinated with simple things - cardboard boxes, pouring water, and in the case of lego, it's not always about buying a pack and following the instructions, the boys just tucked right into the boxes, using their imaginations and building incredible contraptions to race down the ramp.
Darren didn't do much led activities, as the boys were all quite happy just playing on their own, but towards the end, he did get out some individual pre-prepared sets and showed the boys how to make catapults which they all really enjoyed. He has other activities that he could do with groups who prefer led activities, such as tower building races, and for children over 9 you can book a Legobot robot wars party (or a Junior Legobot party for children 7 plus).
Darren runs a variety of stay and play and after school clubs around Hertfordshire that you can attend aimed at children 5 to 11 years old (although he does bring duplo for children 4 and younger if you have siblings). He also runs clubs in conjunction with SPACE for children with Autism and ADHD, and clubs for homeschool groups. You can book onto sessions at this year's Ware's the bricks on the 18th and 19th April
and find out more about bespoke parties on his website and Master Builders Facebook Page.

I couldn't let Black Friday 2020 go by without some amazing deals for my wonderful and valued customers... I've missed you all so much this year, but have loved the few shoots I was able to squeeze in between lockdowns and Home Education. With all the optimism I can muster for next year (I am naturally a pretty positive person) I am offering some spectacular deals on vouchers for my Hertford Studio and outdoor or on-location sessions next year (packages may be given as gifts, but please confirm preferred locations around Hertfordshire and some parts of London, Cambridgeshire and Essex with me before booking).
